Hello Professor Schneider. I was at the prom this past Thursday and I saw how many of my female classmates complain about their feet being under pain. They were wearing high heels that bent their feet into unnatural positions.
The "proper" feet attire for women in this society is high heels. To look nice, women wear these "shoes" that arches their feet into a weird shape. This is supposed to make a women taller and prettier. I even saw a high heel shoes gallery on television to honor Mother's day.
But many women who wear these shoes frequently suffer feet pain. Yet, they still wear them.
I have an idea that fits into Weapons of the Weak. I got the idea from the subway ads about podiatrists. I can print out pictures of disgusting foot disorders and super-glue them on store windows displaying these shoes. When people come to the window and "oooo" at the high heels, they see small nasty pictures of foot disorders. I wonder what their reaction will be.
This action can be carried out by me or a small group. It is somewhat organized if I tell people where to go and assign jobs. I cannot be punished if I am furtive enough. These actions cannot stop high heel shoes from being on the market.
The same thing can be applied to other stores. Pictures of obeise people on McDonald's windows, skin disorders on the windows of Macy's makeup department.
This is just a random idea I had over the weekend. I think it is a good example of weapons of the weak.
